Zambezi Sunset.... |
|||
| A lone buffalo bull wallowing in the cool Zambezi. These old bulls are referred to as "daga boys" (translating to "mud boys") - their usual habit is to find a shallow mud patch and thoroughly coat themselves as protection against biting insects. | |||
| A small flock of whitefronted bee-eaters on the Zambezi. These bee-eaters are common residents, usually occurring in large numbers in river bank colonies. |
| A Yellowbilled stork scouring the shallows of the Zambezi for food. These storks are resident along the larger river courses of the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers. | |||
