Best time of the year
- May to August - rain is rare, days are normally clear, warm and sunny.
- June and July are very cold,
- Early May and September/October tend to be dry but the days are cooler than in summer and the nights are warmer than in winter.
- Game at Chobe is consistent year round; photographic opportunities are excellent especially at dawn and dusk.
- Best birding in the green season from mid October to April

Ilala Lodge the package includes accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis and one dinner at the Boma Restaurant. A sunset cruise,
helicopter ride, tour of the Victoria Falls and Rain Forest, and visits to both a Crocodile Park and Nature Sanctuary are included. A variety of hotels and restaurants at Victoria Falls offer further options for dining out.
Excluded are drinks, lunches, dinners, laundry, Parks & Entry Fees, single supplements, any levies, taxes, surcharges and visa fees, and any bank charges that you may incur. Gratuities and purchases of a personal nature, and any optional extras such as adventure activities, are also excluded.

Muchenje Safari Lodge the package includes accommodation, all meals, all drinks, a laundry service, unlimited game activities and Park Fees.

Best Access
Victoria Falls (VFA)
is a major hub into Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia easily connected from regional and international airports.
Livingstone (LVI) is international airport located on the Zambian side of
Victoria Falls. Johannesburg in South Africa is the primary hub in the region. For more information on

Tips and notes
- Dietary preferences (e.g. vegetarian) must be specified in advance
- We recommend early booking for Christmas/New Year, Easter and the months of July, August and September.
- All adventure activities are optional extras these can be arranged at the time of booking. (Note that Elephant back trails and microlight or fixed wing flights must be booked in advance.)
- Dinner at the Boma Restaurant must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance
and the helicopter flight must be pre-booked.
- Allow extra funds for lunches and drinks where not included in package.
- Victoria Falls town has interesting shops and markets do not be persuaded to change cash on the streets and beware of pick pockets.
- Take the same sensible precautions that you would in any African tourist centre
