These Serengeti safaris are available as fully serviced "authentic" trips or "adventure" camping safaris

Where and whenSerengeti Wilderness Camp

  • These safaris start and end in Arusha, we drive north and have the option of flying back on the last day.
  • We combine the Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Manyara. Tarangire is also included on the authentic trips.
  • These safaris run on either "set dates" in small groups through the year or privately on any day

“Authentic” fully serviced Mobile Safaris

  • These "authentic" safaris are fully serviced by a backup crew that sets up camp on private campsites in advance of the group travelling on safari.
  • The scheduled one week trip includes a visit to Tarangire with 3 nights in private campsites at Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.  (We substitute Tarangire for the Manyara overnight stops in the dry season.)Private campsite at Manyara
  • We use large walk-in dome tents with ensuite toilet and showers on these private campsites.
  • We then spend three nights at the semi-permanent Serengeti Wilderness Camp. These are large and spacious Meru tents.  The camp moves seasonally allowing better access to the migration.
  • These safaris are available on set-date departures from Arusha on Saturday mornings or on a private basis starting any day of the week.
  • We recommend a return flight from the Serengeti to Arusha at the end of the trip.
  • We have a lot of flexibility with these safaris which can be tailored to suit private groups.
